The first thing to do to be a godly wife is to be truly born again first as that will enable you to have the new nature of Christ in you that will make have all the godly characteristics and virtues befitting a godly wife the Bible talks about.
If you are not born again yet, you will still have that old sinful nature in you that naturally makes you stubborn and not want to submit to your husband due to pride, which will make it hard to submit to your husband and love him the way you ought to.
Only when you become truly born again with the new nature of Christ in you that enable you to have a gentle and quiet spirit will you be able to be a Proverbs 31 virtuous woman the bible talks about.
Godly wives are the foundation of family life. They are important for the husband, their children, and for the community. A godly wife is a woman who knows her role in God’s plan for marriage and family life.
