King Solomon in Proverbs 29:1 tells us that if you are a person who often rejects reproof and wise counsel by hardening your heart in your stubbornness, you will be destroyed without remedy.

God has promised that He will preserve all those who heed His counsel found in His word from all evil and save them from the wrath to come that will come upon all those who despised His counsel while on earth.
